English Language Arts (ELA)

  • Reading: Analyze text structure, perspective, and main ideas across fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.

  • Comprehension: Compare and contrast ideas, themes, and perspectives between texts.

  • Writing: Produce opinion essays, explanatory pieces, and narratives with clear organization and transitions.

  • Grammar & Conventions: Apply subject–verb agreement, use relative pronouns, and incorporate advanced punctuation.

  • Speaking & Listening: Present ideas clearly, use evidence to support points, and engage in collaborative discussions.

Mathematics

  • Operations & Algebraic Thinking: Solve multi-digit addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division problems.

  • Fractions & Decimals: Compare and add fractions with like denominators; understand decimals to the hundredths place.

  • Geometry: Identify lines of symmetry and classify shapes by their properties.

  • Measurement & Data: Interpret charts, graphs, and measurement conversions.

  • Problem-Solving: Apply reasoning to multi-step real-world problems.

Science

  • Physical Science: Explore energy transfer and waves.

  • Earth Science: Study natural resources and the water cycle.

  • Life & Environmental Science: Investigate how environmental changes affect living organisms.

  • Scientific Practices: Use scientific methods to plan investigations, collect and analyze data, and communicate findings.
